Morgane Chinal-Dargent

Is an Illustrator based in London.

Nagaremono is a Japanese term that translates as wanderer.

My illustrations are mainly inspired by my travels around the world and imbued with a traditional Japanese style acquired from my time living there before moving to London

.

In my work, I reflect my feminine experience of the modern world and its magic, mystery and complexity. I mainly work digitally but I am also using inks and watercolours to add depth and authenticity to my illustrations.

I favour minimalistic compositions to encapsulate the stories behind the image.Throught my illustrations, I encourage viewers to reflect on their own emotional well-being and to create spaces within their lives where they can find solace, empowerment, and a profound connection to nature's healing presence.

My clients come from various backgrounds and range from the wellness industry to sustainability to the cinema, video game industry as well as children’s book author.

One common denominator though was their will to create a unique identity for their brand with a delicate yet powerful impact on their clients. Together we worked on website design, event posters, character design or children’s books among other.

Commission Process

@: hello@nagaremonoart.com

☎ : 0723 912 3477

After you register your interest and that we agree that we can work on your project together, I will send you a quote and we will arrange a deadline.

From there we will arrange a meeting to discuss your idea (providing a mood board at this stage can prove very helpful). We’ll discuss the composition of the illustration as well as the colour palette and your overall vision.

After this initial call, I’ll send you a rough sketch showing the composition and elements of the illustration that I can edit to tailor your needs.

After agreeing on a suitable composition, I’ll move on to the colouring process and finalising of the illustration.

Prior to the deadline, I’ll send you a first proposition to which I can add some minor edits (colours, small elements change, etc).

After we both agree on these final arrangements I’ll send you the finalised piece on the deadline day we would have previously agreed on.

Please note that any additional meeting or major edits at a late stage of the creation process will be subject to an hourly rate at the commissioner’s charge.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.
